
Smoky Barbeque Beef Burger

INGREDIENTS
- 1 seeded burger bun
- 1 Tbsp barbecue sauce
- 2 slices smoked cheddar (40g)
- 4 gherkin slices
- 3-4 rings of red onion
- 1 Tbsp mayonnaise or aioli

METHOD
- Cook beef burger patty according to instructions on packet.
- Halve the burger bun and lightly toast or char.
- Spread the bottom half of the bun with barbecue sauce, then top with cheese, burger patty, gherkins and red onion. Spread the top half of the bun with mayonnaise and sandwich the burger together.
Chef's Note: With minimal fresh salad ingredients, this burger is a great ‘heat and eat’ option.
