Smoky Barbeque Beef Burgers
BROUGHT TO YOU BY DAME LISA CARRINGTON AND ANGEL BAY
We couldn’t be more excited about our latest limited-edition Smoky Barbeque Beef Patties, created in collaboration with New Zealand's most successful Olympian, Dame Lisa Carrington.
Well-known for her record-breaking, medal-winning success on the water, Dame Lisa is also an avid foodie. And it was our shared love of tasty Kiwi tucker that brought us together to cook up our latest creation.
A NOD TO OUR SPORTING LEGENDS
Dame Lisa’s passion for all things barbeque sparked the inspiration. Smoky yet sweet, with the added pop of the occasional mustard seed and a generous sprinkling of Rum & Que’s Blackout Rub, this iconic Kiwi patty is something the whole family will love.
The patty’s bespoke dark colour is a nod to our black-clad sporting legends flying the flag for New Zealand this year, making each burger a symbol of support for our sporting heroes.
SO, WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO ENJOY IT?
Well, Dame Lisa has a few 'must haves' in her burger. “They include a toasted brioche bun, pickles, mayonnaise, fresh iceberg lettuce, and caramelised onion. Burgers are so versatile and tasty – you really can’t beat a good one.”
And if you ask us, the best way to enjoy our Smoky Barbeque Beef Patties is whichever way you want!
Give them a try and find out for yourself.
Available for a limited time in supermarkets across NZ.
HELP US HELP SAVE THE KIWI
Save the Kiwi works alongside iwi, conservation groups, communities, organisations, and the Department of Conservation Te Papa Atawhai to reverse the decline of the national kiwi population and create more kiwi-safe habitat all over Aotearoa. They work to bring increased awareness to the kiwi’s plight, how important this taonga is to our identity, and what people can do to help. They also fund kiwi conservation groups to do more of their important mahi.
We think that's pretty special!
So, $1 from every packet sold of our new Limited-Edition Angel Bay Smoky Barbeque Beef Patties will be donated to Save the Kiwi.
