  • 1 baguette
  • 75g garlic butter
  • 1½ C grated pizza cheese
  • 1 onion very finely diced
  • 3 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • ¼ C picklenaise
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 3 spring onions chopped

METHOD

  1. Heat the oven to 190°C.
  2. Slice the baguette loaf vertically into 16 slices, making sure you don’t cut all the way through as you want to keep the loaf intact.
  3. Spread a little garlic butter into each slice.
  4. Chop each patty into quarters. Tuck a wedge of burger patty into each slice.
  5. Sprinkle with grated cheese and chopped onion, tucking some into the slices as you are able to.
  6. Place the loaf in a large baking tray and into the oven and bake for 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden and the loaf crisp on the outside.
  7. Remove the baguette from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two.
  8. Drizzle picklenaise and burger sauce over the baguette and sprinkle with spring onion.
  9. Tear apart to serve.
