Do you have products that can be used as part of school lunch programmes? Yes, our 54-gram lite patty has a 4-star Health Star Rating, is in the green category in the Ministry of Educations framework. What is the cook time on your Angel Bay products?

Our product cook times vary depending on the product you are cooking and the method. For example our sliders take about 6 minutes in the fry pan whereas the 150g Angus patties takes about 10 mins in a fry pan. 

You can find specific cook times for each of our products.

Do Angel Bay burgers shrink when you cook them?

Angel Bay burgers have minimal shrinkage when cooked due to them being part-cooked.

Is there any size variance between individual patties?

No there's no size variance between individual burger patties.

All Angel Bay burger patties are made under strict quality control measures to ensure we can guarantee you consistency and quality with every cook.

What is the smallest sized patty Angel Bay offer?

The smallest burger patties we offer are our 40g Beef Sliders, a mini-version of our Gourmet Beef Patties. Find out more about all of our food service products.

Where can I get recipe inspiration? We have a bunch of recipes for both burgers, meatballs, bites, sliders and rissoles.
Where is Angel Bay produced? We’ve been producing high quality beef and lamb products in our processing plant in Green Island, Dunedin for close to 25 years. Our Veggie product is produced at a factory in Napier. We are a proud Kiwi brand here to deliver high-quality, delicious New Zealand beef, lamb and veggie products to both retail and food service businesses.
Are Angel Bay products halal?

Our Angel Bay products are Halal certified by the following New Zealand MPI Approved Halal Organisations (AHO’s) - The New Zealand Islamic Development Trust (NZIDT) and the Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand (FIANZ).

What is the best way to cook Angel Bay patties? Angel Bay can be cooked in a number of different methods including in the hot plate, oven, microwave, air fryer or frying pan.
