  • 2 thick slices of bread, cut into squares
  • 2 slices of tomato, halved
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • Kewpie mayo
  • 2 slices of lettuce
  • ¼ tsp sesame seeds
  • Oil for frying

METHOD

  1. Cut the bread into squares and lightly toast it.
  2. Slice the tomato into rounds and halve each piece.
  3. Cook the Angel Bay patties according to the packet instructions.
  4. Assemble the burger: Place one slice of toasted bread down first. Spread Kewpie mayo on the bread. Add a slice of cheese. Place an Angel Bay patty on top. Add a layer of lettuce. Arrange the tomato slices with the straight edge facing outward. Spread more Kewpie mayo on top. Stack the second Angel Bay patty. Add another slice of cheese. Top with the second piece of toasted bread.
  5. Place two more slices of cheese on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  6. Grill for 1–2 minutes until the cheese melts
