METHOD

  1. Heat a cast iron or non-stick pan over medium heat. Place 3-4 meatballs in the pan (don’t crowd the pan) and use a mug or can to press the meatballs flat. You want untidy edges on the patties - these become deliciously crunchy bits when they are cooked. Cook for 7-8 minutes, turning once during cooking.
  2. Split the slider buns and toast the cut sides lightly.
  3. Lay the bottom halves of the slider buns on a board and spread with kasundi sauce. Top with a meatball patty, a slice of cheese, a slice of gherkin, and then another meatball patty. Drizzle some more kasundi sauce over the patty and finish with the top of the slider bun.
