Beef and Bearnaise Baguette

INGREDIENTS

  • 5g Dijon mustard
  • 1g Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 4 bread rolls
  • 100g Bearnaise sauce
  • 40g butter
  • 40g Gruyere cheese, sliced or grated
  • 40g bread & butter pickles
  • 320g French fries
  • salt and pepper

METHOD

  1. Make sure the meat has broken up into small pieces, like mince.
  2. Combine the crumbled Angel Bay patty with mustard, Worcestershire sauce and diced onion. Place the mixture on a low heat and bring it up to 75c to serve.
  3. Slice the roll open, spread butter down the middle.
  4. Fill the roll with hot mince, top with gruyere cheese.
  5. Serve the roll with bearnaise sauce and freshly cooked French fries and some good quality (or better yet homemade) bread and butter pickles.
